15th Virtual PANHELLENIC CONGRESS OF NUCLEAR MEDICINE 27-30 of May 2021.
Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Hellenic Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, I have the honor and pleasure to invite you to the 15th Panhellenic Congress of Nuclear Medicine, which, because of its postponement (in May 2020), will finally be held on 27-30 of May 2021. The Congress will be held online, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The possibility of physical presence of a limited number of participants in Patras, at the Conference and Cultural Centre of the University of Patras, will be examined, in case the conditions allow it.
The topics of the Congress aim to cover the widest range of diagnostic and therapeutic applications of Nuclear Medicine, both these already established as well as these emerging in the nowadays conditions and will most likely play a role in the future. The program of the Congress includes round tables with a variety of contents, lectures by invited renowned domestic and foreign scientists, subsidized satellite lectures, oral presentations, and e-posters.
The Congress will take place in two “rooms” of the online platform simultaneously in order to provide the opportunity to more young colleagues to present their lectures orally or to attend training sessions; also, our partners, such as technologists, radio-physicists as well as nurses, can express their scientific discourse. We expect that your increased participation will justify our decision successfully and will overcome the risk of dividing the participants into small groups of audiences.
I believe that all mentioned above, will be the basis for a fruitful scientific dialogue that will exceed the limits of our specialty. The Organizing and Scientific Committee of the Congress will deal with their best efforts so as the final results prove, I hope, worthy of our expectations; we also hope to contribute to the promotion of scientific knowledge and the prominence of the Nuclear Medicine role in our country.
We invite you to take part to this effort and we look forward to your active participation.
Best Regards, Dimitrios Apostolopoulos Chair of the Congress
